The summer has taken its toll and now I’m bored out of my mind. I’ve always liked action figures so I just wanted to know some good action figures to collect. As strange as it seems, I see this in a way as an investment so I would like to have action figures that will increase in value over time. Please be specific for example: year, brand, size.
I’m not necessarily saying pokemon, but many Japanese anime and manga shows have very creative and unique characters, which kind of reflects on to the action figures made of them, so finding something like that would be a good investment. Hope you find something you like.

In the late 80’s or early 90’s there was a line of food related action figures. I just saw a thing on Food Network or the Travel Channel Cheeseburger Paradise or something like that. It had a lady on it who was obsessed with burgers and I saw one of the burger action figures and it reminded me that I used to have those. I think they also had a french fry guy. Any idea what I’m talking about?

The little pictures are adorable. The last one was a water sprinkler with little figures in swim suits sliding through. Why have you discontinued these little cartoons. It was so much fun watching them and they were very special.
have you been drinking you are seeing things.??

The ones that looked like animal warriors and they had a little black square on them that if you put your finger on it long enough it showed a symbol? I had one that was a reindeer whose symbol was wood, but I do not remember what they were called and want to get some more.
No, the toys were animals the symbols were like a log for wood or a flame for fire, waves for water and swirls for wind I think. Not sure on the wind one.

So my little brother is 12 years old and he plays with action figures and I find nothing wrong with this, but some of his friends seem to do. I would prefer that my little brother played with action figures, than spend pointless hours playing a video game. At least he is imagining and visualizing with his action figures. What do you think?
I believe that’s quite a bit better than him brutally murdering someone else through a screen. At least this way, he’s not killing his brain cells.
BUT . . . make sure he’s not making two male action figures kiss. Because that would be weird.

If so where would I go to find information on them. Preferably the connoisseur collection (skater’s Waltz). These dolls have discontinued, I’ve discovered and may have one of great value. Hopefully!Any bit of information would help. Thanks!
I hate to break you bubble of hope, but the Seymour Mann dolls are not the most collectible in the newer dolls they made millions and used the same faces for most of the production of their dolls. you will find the sell from 1.00 to the most at $30. Below is a link showing you just the dolls from the Connoisseur Collection, Green is the selling price, if its not green it did not sell.

hope this helps you.

I am looking for an amazing seamstress who can make a sewing pattern for a plush doll.
I have no clue where to find one.
I know you asked for someone who could make a pattern but I can’t do that. However, I know how to find patterns, read them and sew them up. Check my avatar for my address and email me if you have any questions. I am providing you with two links to check out and the second is to my opinion one of the best I have seen since I have been on Yahoo Answers.

I use those storage bags that you take a vacuum and suck all the air out of them. Big bags? I think they are made by Ziploc. Great product.

I have bought some things in the US, mainly movie collectibles, and I would like to ship them to China. Can there be problems with Chinese customs, or it is not a problem to ship products to China?
I agree with the previous answer. It also depends on How you send them and how they are described on the customs form which you must complete to accompany the shipment. If you declare a big value it will get more scrutiny. If you send post it goes through a different clearance process than a carrier such as DHL or UPS. ALong with the description of the goods, I label all my packages "for the personal use of resident foreign expert", which as a teacher is what I am, and they seem to sail through. It’s all in the description whether it raises a level of interest. I did loose one package in the post 6 years ago. I foolishly packaged some nice clothing ALONG WITH THE RELATED JEWELRY and it never made it. I don’t think the clothes would have caused a problem, but I suspect that the package was x-rayed and the jewelry, which was not valuable, showed up and someone snatched it.
