At what age should you stop taking an interest in playing with your Transformers action figures and why?

This is an important question, believe it or not, to some people in their late teens and early 20′s who have obsessive compulsions to amass large collections of plastic toys to satisfy some twisted urge that nobody can explain.

In my opinion, playing with dolls and action figures should naturally end at the age of 14 as kids grow into adulthood.

It varies from people to people. Honestly though I never had a thought of not playing with my old action figures, but as you get older your mind starts to change you like different things. Eventually some people get different opinions on what makes them happy, and what brings joy to them. Keep playing with action figures, or whatever you might think is kidish, if you never change well… Who care as long as you’re having fun. If you do, hey you got new hobbies.

It differs for each person. I still enjoy collecting Transformers and I am in my 20′s. I would say whenever you feel is right. I do not play with them, but I still collect them. It is the persons own decision. If you still like them and you want to get rid of them then try doing something else that you like. Or, you could do as I do and don’t play with them and just collect them. I once overheard a grown man in his 30′s saying to his wife that he was going to buy himself a Lego set. So, just do whatever you think is right.

i’ve got to totally disagree with you.
i’m 19 and still play with transformers, yeah i don’t play with them very much but i do on occasion.
but now i just mostly display them.
i also like to build and display other types of models like zoids, and gundams.
but i don’t find it childish in the least.
