How many “evil” leaders, criminals or similar figures have actually described themselves as such?

The world of fiction - especially children’s - is full of classic baddies who totally admit the fact that they are bad. But in the real, adult, world, most sinister rulers, even Adolf Hitler, claim that right and goodness is on their side. But have there been many figures in history who have not tried to hide their badness, and actually celebrated it?

There have been a number of serial killers and murderers that have revelled in their behavior: Charles Manson, Richard Ramirez (the Night Stalker), Albert Fish, Pedro Lopez….

    Stalin once said:

"To choose one’s victims, to prepare one’s plan minutely, to slake an implacable vengeance, and then to go to bed … there is nothing sweeter in the world."

I think this definitely sounds like the words of a man celebrating his megalomania.
