    Yeah… Who was making that claim? Apple? They spent years bashing on intel chips then all the sudden switched to them (just like they bashed Windows OS till they could run them)! Mac will always claim ther parts are faster (i7 is faster than xeon FYI).

    I fresh installed OS X on the G4… Still couldn’t play youtube vids. My P4 could light game.

    It’s faster till the mac overheats and downclocks lol.

    I’m running Phenom II x4 @3.6GHz. And it cost me $400. Faster than any core2duo Mac.

    Most people that switch to Mac switch from a 5 year old piece of crap PC after watching apple commercials, This causes MORE bias especially after having their heads filled with what is by definition propaganda.

    My GFs family switched to Mac after their dell died from abuse. They went from 2.4GHZ Pentium 4 to 800MHz PowerPC and somehow became fans. then went to core2 iMac… BIASED?

    Macs are the BEST SELLING computers , almost everybody in my family have Macs even my children!!!!! Macs are more easier to understand and they are not complicated at all!

    P.C are very complicated and a work computer but macs are for people who work for example:movies, making songs
    making plans,photografy…….

    Both pcs and macs have their merits. PC owners have an unusual loyalty, not for machines that can be great, but the operating system. Why would you care so much for a system that clutters your hard drive so much. I set up an aspire one today and it took me almost an hour and a half to have it up and running (deleting ). Mac users do have perhaps an even stronger sense of loyalty but as most mac users have used a windows pc for some time before using a mac they are perhaps less prone to bias.

    my dumbass room mate spilled about 6 or 7 drops of water on my pc and now the 1, Q, tab, and Z keys dont work.
    I dropped my mac from the top bunk (about 6 feet) and it works perfectly.
    I prefer the mac. You can make a computer that would kill either a pc mac or linux either way, so enthusiasts shouldn’t care.

    Their stock prices are pretty bad (though usually better than Apple’s) but they have almost always have a sale on the product you are looking for. E.g. tell me anywhere else I can find a 13.3″ laptop with a P8700 CPU, Nvidia 9500M GE (w/ 256MB GDDR onboard memory), 4GB of DDR3 RAM, LED monitor, 4 year warranty + accidental damage protection, and a 500GB 7200 RPM hard drive for under $1,200. Feel free to improve any hardware so long as price doesn’t dramatically increase.
