I mean I can see …
I mean I can see that you’re much better at writing pseudo-punk than they are, so that gives you like 50 slack points (lol), but then those slack points(lol again) disappear when you imply that they sit down at band practice and say to each other, “So how can we be groundbreaking AND commercially successful today guys?”, like a bunch of F.I.H.’s on their way to the local indy theater. just lighten up! why do you find it necessary to talk down on a band/scene that you don’t enjoy/understand? they are so far from “hipster” its ridiculous, they are making unique and enjoyable music that comes from the heart. i am in no way a “hipster” or whatever, i enjoy many bands of various genres, it’s easier to criticize and hate on a band than it is to take the time to open your mind and enjoy it for what it is.

they’re boring cartoons. i might’ve liked them if i was 8 years old. just sounds like they’re taking great ideas from days of yore and molding them into a pop format… you know just like every hipster band does because they want to be “groundbreaking” and commercially succesful at the same time. and btw talented musicians are not that interesting to me anymore. they’re good at their instruments.. big deal. i’m not into that whole rock star/god vs. crowd/hungry masses type of dynamic.
