I will have to take your word on that. I don’t have to step my knowledge up, I know all about real hip hop. I just don’t invest the time to learn about artist that are gimmicks and make money by forgetting what they really can do and just make music that the mainstream wants. I find it hard to believe that they just met then. But, I can’t argue because I don’t care enough about Wayne or Drake to research. I am too busy listening and making real hip hop!

Drake sought out Wayne for a verse on his upcoming mixtape So Far Gone I know of the person he went to get that done she brag about all the time. Wayne liked Drake so much he decided to do more music and take Drake on the Cash Money tour the rest is history. Wayne and Drake got similar styles but Wayne do his own . Don’t speculate to the point you go making stuff up.

If I had to choose, I would listen to Drake before Wayne anyday. I understand that there is a difference in rap and hip hop. I am a hip hop head and Lil Wayne is not hip hop. I can’t stand him!

Seriously, anyone can rap or even rhyme. Producers look for style appeal, voice, humor, image etc. I ask huge fan to repeat the lyrics of Lil Wayne, and she couldn’t. Maybe because listeners like the sound alone of his music instead the whole package. She didn’t even know what the Wayne was saying.
