My boyfriend is in the Marines and he is getting deployed in early april. I don’t want him to go but he has to. How do i say good bye? I dont want to cry over this.
you most likely will cry. Just make sure that you spend these last few weeks before he goes, appreciating the time you have with him and not thinking about how he is leaving because while he is gone you can think about it all you want, don’t ruin the last few weeks you have together. I held back tears when mine was leaving, i pretended that I’d be seeing him in a week. Sept. 2nd was the last time I saw him and in about 7 or 8 weeks we will finally be together again. just try to smile and laugh and make jokes. He’s very brave so you should try to be brave too. depending on where he is going changes things. Mine isn’t in a very dangerous place in Iraq so I don’t really worry much about him. You’ll be okay. Try to wait until the car ride home to cry if you’re all that worried about it. If not just bury your face in him until you think you are finished.
